"I recently got a WONDERFUL deal on some ground beef and wanted a stew. I looked through quite a few recipes and couldn't find anything that struck my fancy. Step 1

In a medium size skillet over medium heat add ground beef and onion,sprinkle with seasoned salt and pepper.

Step 2

While meat is browning,prep potatoes and carrots.

Step 3

Place prepped vegetables in crock pot.

Step 4

Drain ground beef and add to the vegetables.

Step 5

Pour soup over vegetables and beef mix well.

Step 6

If the mixture seems to be too thick,and a bit of broth and stir well.

Step 7

Then mix in oregano and garlic powder.

Step 8

After 6 hours, eat and enjoy.

I just put this all together first thing in the morning, turned it on at 11:30 . At 6PM I had a lovely flavourful dinner. I did take a couple of liberties to use up "stuff" I had in the fridge. I used small nugget potatoes, added about 1/2 cup of tomato sauce and teaspoon of chili flakes. Thanks for an easy very enjoyable dinner.

Very good. The only change I made was using celery salt for the seasoned salt and cream of mushroom for the soup. Not sure how much garlic powder to use so I gave it a good sized sprinkle. Used 4 carrots and 4 medium sized potatoes. Thanks for sharing!
