Step by Step Method

Step 1

Mix rub and rub all over roast.

Step 2

Brown beef with the onion.

Step 3

Place in Pam sprayed crockpot.

Step 4

Deglaze the pan with water.

Step 5

Add bay leaves to crockpot.

Step 6

Add pieces of roux to pot and whisk.

Step 7

Pour over roast.

Step 8

Cook on low 8 hours adding water as needed

Step 9

Season to taste remove bay leaves.
