"A little something the DH came up with loosely based our our recipe of www.recipezazz.com/recipe/creamy-garlicy-seafood-marinara-14254 Creamy Garlicy Seafood Marinara and like this recipe if serving over rice double or triple the sauce as the rice will soak it up were as is it will coat the pasta and I would recommend linguine or pappardelle (a wide flat style of pasta). For a low carb option I serve over cauliflower rice or though edamame linguine."

Step by Step Method

Step 1

Heat butter, oil and garlic in a medium frying pan over medium-high heat until butter has melted. Add flour. Cook, stirring for 1 minute or until mixture bubbles.

Slowly add stock, 1/4 cup at a time, stirring constantly to prevent lumps forming. Add wine and cream. Cook, stirring for 3 minutes or until sauce boils and thickens. Add mustard. Season with salt and pepper.

Step 3

Add prawns. Simmer, stirring for 3 minutes or until prawns are cooked through. Stir in parsley. Serve creamy garlic prawns with steamed rice.
