"This recipe was found on the side of a box of Knox Gelatin. In this recipe the cooking time is the chill time. It will take between 2 and 3 hours of chilling to set."

Step 1

Sprinkle gelatin over 1/4 cup milk in a small bowl; allow to stand until gelatine is moistened.

Step 2

Add boiling water; stir constantly until gelatine is completely dissolved and set aside.

Step 3

Combine sugar and cocoa in mixer bowl; add remaining milk, vanilla, whipping cream and liqueur (if using),

Step 4

Beat at medium speed until soft peaks form.

Step 5

Slowly add gelatine mixture; beat at high speed until stiff peaks form.

Step 6

Spoon into serving dishes and chill until set (2 to 3 hours)

Step 7

Garnish with chocolate curls.

Lovely recipe! We really enjoyed this. It is almost like hot chocolate ice cream whipped pudding or something lol. It has a nice creamy cocoa flavor without being too sweet. I followed the recipe omitting the liqueur, and using chocolate sprinkles in place of curls. Freddy Cat says thanks for the whirl! Made for the Pick Me! recipe tag game.
