  • 1 (7-gram) package Knox gelatine (one pouch from 28 gram box of gelatin)
  • 1/2 cup milk, divided
  • 1/4 cup boiling water
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup cocoa powder
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 2 cups whipping cream
  • 1 tablespoon orange liqueur, optional
  • Chocolate curls, for garnish

How to Make

  • Step 1: Sprinkle gelatin over 1/4 cup milk in a small bowl; allow to stand until gelatine is moistened.

  • Step 2: Add boiling water; stir constantly until gelatine is completely dissolved and set aside.

  • Step 3: Combine sugar and cocoa in mixer bowl; add remaining milk, vanilla, whipping cream and liqueur (if using),

  • Step 4: Beat at medium speed until soft peaks form.

  • Step 5: Slowly add gelatine mixture; beat at high speed until stiff peaks form.

  • Step 6: Spoon into serving dishes and chill until set (2 to 3 hours)

  • Step 7: Garnish with chocolate curls.
