Step 1: Sprinkle gelatin over 1/4 cup milk in a small bowl; allow to stand until gelatine is moistened.
Step 2: Add boiling water; stir constantly until gelatine is completely dissolved and set aside.
Step 3: Combine sugar and cocoa in mixer bowl; add remaining milk, vanilla, whipping cream and liqueur (if using),
Step 4: Beat at medium speed until soft peaks form.
Step 5: Slowly add gelatine mixture; beat at high speed until stiff peaks form.
Step 6: Spoon into serving dishes and chill until set (2 to 3 hours)
Step 7: Garnish with chocolate curls.
