Step by Step Method

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

Step 2

Grease and flour 10” cake pan.

Step 3

Mix all cake ingredients together.

Step 4

Pour into prepared cake pan.

Step 5

Bake for 30 minutes or until toothpick inserted in middle comes out clean.

Step 6

Cool completely.

Step 7

Cream butter and add milk and peppermint extract, then blend in icing sugar.

Step 8

Blend until smooth.

Step 9

Add green food coloring to make it a light green shade.

Step 10

Frost the cake.
