  • 3 teaspoons baking soda
  • 6 tablespoons cocoa
  • 1 1/2 cups mayonnaise
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 3 cups flour
  • Frosting:
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 16 ounces icing sugar
  • 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
  • 2 teaspoon green food coloring
  • 1/3 cup plus 1 tablespoon milk

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

  • Step 2: Grease and flour 10” cake pan.

  • Step 3: Mix all cake ingredients together.

  • Step 4: Pour into prepared cake pan.

  • Step 5: Bake for 30 minutes or until toothpick inserted in middle comes out clean.

  • Step 6: Cool completely.

  • Step 7: Cream butter and add milk and peppermint extract, then blend in icing sugar.

  • Step 8: Blend until smooth.

  • Step 9: Add green food coloring to make it a light green shade.

  • Step 10: Frost the cake.
