"You can use just about any kind of nuts. I love walnuts and pecans. I have also used cashews and pistachios to top my salads with. They are also great on ice cream sundaes, and on top of your favorite cakes and trifles. The sky is the limit here, so use your imagination! (2 cup yield)"

Made up a batch to use on all my salads. They really make the salads extra special. I plan to make these on a regular basis.

I made these the first time to have with ice cream, but they are excellent with your recipe for Just like Long Horn's Strawberry Pecan Salad and that is what I made them for this time. They don't take a long time to make and they are so tasty!

I made these to use on a delicious salad I made by lindasbusykitchen. Just like Longhorn's Strawberry Pecan Salad. The nuts were perfect and were delicious on the salad. I had some left over so I used those for Hot Fudge Sundays later in the afternoon. I will keep these around. They are delicious just to munch on!

These nuts caramelized really well and they are so sweet and delicious. I try not to grab them by the handful, and save them for my oatmeal, salad and over ice cream, but they are so good I can't stay out of them. These are great to make ahead so you have them already on hand for when you need them. I will find even more uses for them as I go along!
