Caramel Brownies
"Here's a classic recipe all dolled up with a gooey layer of buttery caramel sauce sandwiched between two delicious layers of chocolate brownie. These are just about as easy and good as it gets! I have been known to add nuts into the caramel sauce too, so if you like nuts try some."

Step by Step Method
Step 1
Combine caramels and 1/3 cup of evaporated milk in a small saucepan. Heat on low heat until the caramels are melted. Stir constantly while the caramels are melting. Add the nuts when the caramel is melted, if you are using them, mixing in, then take off the heat.
Step 2
In a separate bowl, combine cake mix, butter, flour, and 1/3 cup evaporated milk.
Step 3
Spread half of the cake mixture into the bottom of a greased 9x13 inch pan.
Step 4
Bake at 350 degrees for 6 minutes.
Step 5
As soon as the bottom layer comes out of the oven, sprinkle with chocolate chips and spread on caramel sauce.
Step 6
Top with remaining cake mixture, and bake for another 15-18 minutes. Cool completely before serving.
