I didn't go low fat with this; but reg fat. It was just as good. I did add minced shallots vs dried onion powder, because I'm not a fan. Also, fresh thyme as well. It lacked something for me; maybe a little red pepper flakes, or mustard; but something was missing. However, my friends enjoyed it, so maybe it was just my tastes. I still felt like it needed something. But, overall a fantastic recipe.

I have to agree with you Diana, this is a great dressing and I have used it for the past 4 days on my salads. It is so delish! I used half and half with vinegar instead of the buttermilk, and I have to say you can't tell the difference. I always use that because I never use buttermilk enough to have it on hand. Works for me! I will have this on hand often in my fridge now that I have made this. It is wonderful! Thanks so much for posting it here for us! Linda
