Step by Step Method

Step 1

In a shallow skillet fry bacon crisp. Remove from skillet.

Step 2

Split lengthwise 3/4 through hot dog.

Step 3

Open hot dog so it can lay flat - cut side down. Place in skillet.

Step 4

Fry in bacon grease until thoroughly heated or browned on both sides.

Step 5

Remove from heat.

Step 6

Spread mayonnaise on one side of each slice of bread.

Step 7

Assemble sandwich by layering lettuce, tomato, bacon, and hotdogs.

Step 8

Cut in half. Serve.

This is very good. All the ingredients go together so well. I liked the lettuce and the tomato on the hot dog.
