Step 1: In a shallow skillet fry bacon crisp. Remove from skillet.
Step 2: Split lengthwise 3/4 through hot dog.
Step 3: Open hot dog so it can lay flat - cut side down. Place in skillet.
Step 4: Fry in bacon grease until thoroughly heated or browned on both sides.
Step 5: Remove from heat.
Step 6: Spread mayonnaise on one side of each slice of bread.
Step 7: Assemble sandwich by layering lettuce, tomato, bacon, and hotdogs.
Step 8: Cut in half. Serve.
