"An indulgent (but healthy!) concoction of all that is good here in Costa Rica. Our amazing coffee, fresh off the tree coconuts, and the organic, non-processed endless supply of cashews and almonds (these nuts are what keeps our Scarlet Macaws nesting in our area!). This is a WARM smoothie that's a take on Bulletproof Coffee. The healthy fats help your cognitive functions, and plenty of protein to keep you feeling full. Plus that dose of caffeine. Wonderful!"

Wowsers, that's strong stuff! I used roasted almond butter and light coconut milk because that's what I had. As I can't digest large amounts of fat too well I think full fat coconut milk would have been too much for me. So this was just the perfect after morning-run shot. Also I like that it isn't sweetened. Thanks for sharing! Made for Beverage Anyone Tag Game.
