Wonderful basic recipe for bread pudding! So comforting. I had some dried cubes of sourdough to use up, and love bread pudding, so tagged this in the Billboard recipe tag game. I used 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream, 1 1/2 cups 2% milk, 1/4 cup sugar, 1/4 cup Splenda/Xylitol mix and did use the raisins and cinnamon. I can't have bread pudding without raisins or cinnamon! I enjoyed it warm and cold with whipped cream. My Hubby poured some real maple syrup over his. I checked it at 30 minutes, but the custard wasn't set, I had to bake it another 20 minutes but that could be because my oven has been being weird. Freddy Cat says thanks for the yummy bread pudding!
