Stir together.
If your syrup has chunky bits in it and you don't want those, mix your syrup with one cup of the water (to make it less thick and sticky), then strain it through a fine meshed sieve. I know there are syrups you can buy without the bits, or feel free to make your own. Mine had a few bits but it didn't bother me as they sank straight to the bottom and stayed out of the glass.
Serve chilled or over ice.
