Step by Step Method

Step 1

Mix flour, pepper and brown sugar. Cut in shortening. Add milk and lemon juice.

Step 2

Roll out onto floured board flip dough cut.

Step 3

Bake 450 degrees F for 15 minutes or until lightly browned (I have sucky oven sooo cook til your are done).

These are some good biscuits! Love the pronounced black pepper flavor and as suggested by Dee, they’d be great for breakfast, especially with egg, bacon, or sausage, but we had them for dinner alongside pork chops and it matched really well.
