"I found the original recipe in Taste of Home's Quick Cooking Cookbook of 2010. It was sent to them by Bernice Morris from Marshfield Missouri. The way the sauce was written in the original recipe was too sweet for our taste,so I added a few things to it to balance out the sweetness. Feel free to adjust to your own personal tastes. Step 1
Combine well, all sauce ingredients and set aside.
Step 2
In a large bowl mix together gently all meat patty ingredients.
Step 3
In a large skillet over medium heat,brown patties on both sides.
Step 4
Remove patties and drain excess meat juices.
Step 5
In the same skillet add Sauce,bring to a boil and return patties to skillet.
Step 6
Cover and reduce heat to a simmer for 10 minutes,cook meat to an internal temp of 160 degrees.
