  • 1 can (8 ounce) tomato sauce
  • 2 tablespoons green onion, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon prepared yellow mustard
  • 1/2 to 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika (smoked)
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
  • PATTY INGREDIENTS
  • 1 large egg (well beaten)
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt, or to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper, or to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 pound ground pork

How to Make

  • Step 1: Combine well, all sauce ingredients and set aside.

  • Step 2: In a large bowl mix together gently all meat patty ingredients.

  • Step 3: In a large skillet over medium heat,brown patties on both sides.

  • Step 4: Remove patties and drain excess meat juices.

  • Step 5: In the same skillet add Sauce,bring to a boil and return patties to skillet.

  • Step 6: Cover and reduce heat to a simmer for 10 minutes,cook meat to an internal temp of 160 degrees.
