I have made these several times this winter to have with beef stew, chicken and noodles and chicken and rice soup. The dumpling were tender and tasted so good. They completed the meal for us. We did add little dabs of butter over them at serving time. MMMmm good!

I made these dumplings to go with Mikekey's Irish Stew that I made for St Patrick's Day. They were delicious with the stew. These could become a habit whenever I make soup from now on!

I made these to go with your beef stew Linda http://www.recipezazz.com/recipe/lindas-beef-stew-4247 and I also made them again when I made a chicken stew using your beef recipe. These dumplings are so great with them! I loved the added herbs and will make them like this from now on. They have so much more flavor than plain dumplings and go so well with all kinds of soups and stews. I plopped the dumplings all around the top of the broth and they were done just right using the time you said. I see many repeats using them!

Really light and fluffy dumplings! I made an Indian Borcht and cooked them in that. I didn't take a pic, didn't think you would like a pic of pink dumplings. lol They were perfect with the soup. I made a copy cat recipe of Bisquick and instead of the herbs, I used Garam Masala, which tied in with the spices in the soup. Another lovely recipe Linda! Made for Billboard Recipe Tag.
