"I've been trying different ways to be creative with Ramen Noodles,and I think this turned out pretty good. If you like,feel free to add crushed red pepper flakes.As with most BBQ dishes,garlic toast would be good addition. Submitted to " ZAZZ " on 2/18/14. " Keep Smiling :)"

Step by Step Method

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Step 2

In a small skillet over medium heat add ground beef,seasoned salt,garlic powder,and instant onion.

Step 3

Cook until meat is slightly browned,drain,return to skillet,and stir in half the BBQ sauce.

Step 4

While beef is cooking,cook noodles according to package directions.

Step 5

Drain and return noodles to pan,add beef/sauce mixture along with remaining sauce and half the cheese and mix well.

Step 6

Pour into a 1 quart baking dish which has been prepared with cooking spray.

Step 7

Top with remaining cheese and if using, french fried onions.

Step 8

Bake for 20 minutes or until cheese is melted and onions are lightly browned.

This was one of those "This is all I have in the house meals". I had it saved for just this purpose. I used a whole pound of hamburger. I also only used half barbecue sauce. The rest of the liquid was part ketchup and part taco sauce. It worked out fantastically. Thanks for the recipe.

My DH and MIL loved it! It was very easy to make. I doubled it. I used white aged reserve extra sharp cheddar. I didn't use the French fried onions since I forgot to get them. It was a twist on a hamburger cassarole. Made for Billboard tag.
