"Mixing all of the ingredients for the grilled cheese filling makes this come together fast. If I'm making grilled cheese sandwiches for a group, I use the oven method. If it's 2-4, I usually use the stovetop method. You can use whatever bread you have handy, but a thicker bread (like sourdough or a hearty white) holds up best to spreading on the filling. Cook time listed is for the stovetop method (give yourself another 10 minutes or so if you're using the oven)."

Step by Step Method
Step 1
In a bowl, mix together the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, and diced jalapenos until well combined.

Take a slice of bread and spread a generous amount of the cream cheese mixture on one side. Repeat with the remaining slices of bread.
Stovetop Directions:
