Step by Step Method

Step 1

Cook macaroni in boiling salted water until tender, about 8 minutes.

Step 2

Drain and rinse with cold water.

Step 3

Drain again.

Step 4

Place macaroni in bowl and set aside to cool.

Step 5

Add vegetable oil to macaroni and toss.

Step 6

Add the rest of the ingredients and mix well.

Step 7

Chill and serve.

I cut down on the oil a little and added more mayo as suggested. I also used yellow and red capsicum as I didn't have green, and also added a few peas as I had some left over from another salad. I also used red onion, which made for a colorful yet pretty salad. We really enjoyed this salad, creamy and a lovely light flavour which we really did enjoy. A wonderful salad served cold on a warm day.

This was really good but did need more mayo...even with your increase...the flavor was really nice and we enjoyed was really moist and the addition of the oil was a surprise...made for Bill Board tag game...
