What WAS on Your Plate & and WHAT'S for Dinner 8/22
I hope everyone had a fantastic weekend! It looks like a few people will be enjoying a bit cooler weather this week.
Today's Cooking ...
Lady #1+2: A play on http://www.recipezazz.com/recipe/orzo-m ... vera-24047, but adding cauliflower, mushrooms, and chicken; fruit salad; lemon cookies
Lady #2+3: Same dinner (minus the chicken); but beer boiled peel and eat shrimp on the side - also, lemon coconut cookies
Me: If mussels are on sale; mussels in a wine broth w/garlic bread; corn; tomato slices; fruit. If not ... I can make some mini shepherds pie using some beef tips/onions/mushrooms leftovers in the freezer ... or, maybe just a salad with shrimp out by the pool; and plenty of fruit.

Pan saute with a little onion, garlic; make a roux, add milk, broth, maybe a little wine or sherry. Then, finish w/peas.
Makes a nice quick dinner; just add salad on the side.

Lovin, crab anything and I am happy.
I ended up with just a salad by the pool. Not that hungry; so, it was fine.
