Step 1

Pour hot water into a teapot(if your using)

Heat 4 cups of water

Step 4

Turmeric, a sprinkle of chili flakes and a cinnamon stick.

Step 5

Add the slices of lemon ginger and orange

Step 6

Making sure you twist the slices to release juice

Step 7

Heat to boiling

Step 8

Take off the heat and add teabags

Step 9

Let steep 5 minutes

Step 10

Dump the water from teapot

Step 11

And strain tea into pot , or cups

Lovely tea that has different layers of flavor. I think it could also help to chase the flu away. If you like ginger, citrus, etc., this is for you. I misread the amount of tumeric and added 1 teaspoon instead of 1/4 teaspoon, yikes, but it didn't negatively impact the taste. Also added a bit of extra ginger, cause that's how I float. I'll be making this again as in my opinion it is especially good for the cold months. Thank you, Dee, for sharing. Made it for FYC and Pick Me tag games.
