"Adding this homemade window cleaner to have exact proportions at my fingertips and sharing with those who clean windows. Love clean windows, sparkling clean streak free windows. There are a good many products out there that work but a few years back contending with a pre and post opt a large double window missed cleaning two seasons running, I was shocked to find the dirtiest window ever, made all the worse by a dusty project the previous summer. With tall ladders still off limits I was overwhelmed, then remembered a number of friends being very impressed with a homemade solution and improvised as I couldn’t reach. I was so impressed that I made a new solution and tried it indoors obviously not hosing off but wiping rinsing and shining with a clean micofiber cloth. Great outdoors and indoors as well as bathroom mirrors."

Step by Step Method

Step 1

Outdoors I mix this solution in a bucket using a brush, mop or sponge end with an extension pole, dip in the bucket of solution and scrub it on the window

Step 2

Do not let it dry, hose off rinsing thoroughly

Step 3

Occasionally I will follow up adding a clean micofibre cloth on an extension pole and give it an extra shine but for the most part the water sheets off as it does in your dishwasher leaving you with clean shiny windows

Step 4

For indoors when preparing the solution I fill a spray bottle or two and use as you would a bottle of window cleaner
