"My take on a similar flatbread recipe (from plainchickendotcom) but with fig preserves instead of honey. I use whole wheat pizza dough for the flatbread."

I saw this recipe and decided to try it without the bacon. It was delicious! However I think it would be super delish with the bacon. I used extra thin small 8" pizza crust. We found that 2 pieces were enough. We loved the combination of flavours. This recipe goes into my favourites and next time I will add the bacon.13 May Whoops made again and still left toff the bacon (Sorry Red Apple Guy) We do enjoy it even without the bacon Guy)https://www.recipezazz.com/recipe/walnut-bacon-brie-flatbread-with-fig-jam-19259

Oh my, this is sinfully good & such an easy-fix. I used packaged flatbread rounds & chg'd to strawberry jam as we agreed. By accident, I also chg'd the order of assembly. I started by spreading jam on the rounds & then added the Brie, bacon & walnuts. They were halved & served today for a family brunch. They were on the table & the next time I looked, they were gone. BUT luckily Siggi had put the last 1 on my plate. :-) Their disappearing act earned them an encore in the wks ahead. Thx for sharing this recipe w/us.
