Step 1: Fry bacon until done but not real crispy. Chop each slice into 3 or 4 pieces.
Step 2: Preheat oven or grill to 500 F
Step 3: Place 1/4 of bacon slices on top of each flatbread. Drizzle 1 to 1 1/2 tablespoons of fig preserves over each flatbread. Top each flatbread with 1/4 of the brie cheese slices and 2 tablespoons of walnut pieces.
Step 4: Place flatbreads on a baking sheet, pizza stone, or on the grill not directly over the coals or flames and bake until cheese is melted, about 4 minutes.
