Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 4 flatbreads (about 125g each)
  • 12 ounces bacon (sliced bacon)
  • 6 ounces brie cheese (sliced thin)
  • 1/3 cup fig preserves (can use honey)
  • 2.2 ounces walnuts (1/2 cup, roughly broken into pieces)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Fry bacon until done but not real crispy. Chop each slice into 3 or 4 pieces.

  • Step 2: Preheat oven or grill to 500 F

  • Step 3: Place 1/4 of bacon slices on top of each flatbread. Drizzle 1 to 1 1/2 tablespoons of fig preserves over each flatbread. Top each flatbread with 1/4 of the brie cheese slices and 2 tablespoons of walnut pieces.

  • Step 4: Place flatbreads on a baking sheet, pizza stone, or on the grill not directly over the coals or flames and bake until cheese is melted, about 4 minutes.
