"My inflammation is getting really bad. Celery is supposed to help reduce inflammation. There are more juice recipes than anything. I made this smoothie recipe this morning with what I had. To make it colder I would put it in the freezer for a couple minutes after making, or you can always add ice cubes in the blender. Feel free to add more sweetener if you desire. The texture is not like ice cream; more like a thick drink."

Step by Step Method

Step 1

Get out a blender.

Step 2

Add in the water and the yogurt first.

Step 3

Add in the rest of the ingredients. Do not add in the orange peel.

Step 4

Place the lid on the blender. If there is a food chop function, this is handy to use first as it will make the drink much smoother.

Step 5

Blend everything to your desired consistency. If you want it thicker or slushier, feel free to add ice now and blend some more.

Step 6

Pour into a cup and drink.

This was a really nice change of pace to have in the morning. I love all the ingredients, so why not try them together. I was pleasantly surprised on the flavor and enjoyed it cold. You got me sold when you said it would help inflammation in your intro as I'm suffering from it as well. Thank you, WAIGEN, for sharing! Made it for Only the Lonely.
