"I have a few favorite coffee mixtures I like to keep in the pantry for when I want a nice hot cup of flavoured coffee, and, this is one of them. I like to give this as gifts in a pretty jar. Just paste a pretty label on the jar with the preparation directions."

Step by Step Method

Step 1

Place sugar in a small bowl. Sprinkle with orange extract.

Step 2

With a fork, stir and blend until no trace of extract moisture remains.

Step 3

Add remaining ingredients; stir.

Step 4

Sift to blend thoroughly.

Step 5

Store in an airtight container.

Step 6

To prepare 1 serving, spoon 2 to 3 tsp of mix into a standard coffee mug; fill with boiling water and stir.

Love the flavors in this. I think this should be kept in the small batch as written, though, because of the moisture in the extract and brown sugar. It might clump up if stored too long. That won't be a problem with me though, because I will be using it often. I did use de-caf instant coffee, so I can have this in the evening.
