Step by Step Method
Step 1
Heat oil in a large sauté pan over medium heat.
Step 2
Add onions, garlic, and ginger and sauté, stirring often, for 2 minutes.
Step 3
Add garam masala and tomatoes. Season to taste with salt and sauté for 2 more minutes.
Step 4
Add meat, celery, and carrots, cover pan, and cook for 5 minutes. Vegetables should be cooked but still crisp.
Step 5
Cook pasta capellini (or bean thread noodles, following package cooking directions) in a large pot of boiling salted water over high heat until just soft, about 2 minutes. Drain noodles, then add to meat mixture in pan.
Step 6
Cook for 1 minute, tossing noodles with vegetables and meat. Season with soy sauce. Serve garnished with cilantro.
