"These sandwiches are a regular at my house. We usually have them with the addition of mushrooms that I throw in the Crock Pot with all the other ingredients. They are devoured in no time here! Good on busy days. Just set it and forget it!"

Step by Step Method

Step 1

Spray Crock Pot with a non-stick cooking spray, or use a slow cooker liner.

Step 2

Cut meat into thin strips, and place in the Crock Pot.

Step 3

Add green pepper, onion, mushrooms, stock, garlic salt, pepper and dressing mix.

Step 4

Cover, and cook on low 7-8 hours, or on High for 3-4 hours.

Step 5

Spoon meat mixture onto lightly toasted rolls.

Step 6

Top with cheese, then put the rolls on a baking sheet, and bake at 350 degrees, an additional 2-3 minutes, to melt the cheese.
