Salad Dressing
"After searching for this recipe for years, I was thrilled to finally locate it. Sammy's Charcoal Grill was a locally owned restaurant here during the 1950's & 1960's. They served this salad dressing over a wedge of Iceberg lettuce and it was so good. Sometimes that is all I would eat for lunch. I finally found someone who had worked for Sammy and got the recipe from her. I am a happy camper!"

Step by Step Method
Step 1
Put celery, bell pepper, garlic and cheese into a blender with the buttermilk. Blend on high for 12-15 seconds.
Step 2
Add hardboiled eggs and blend for 3 more seconds.
Step 3
Add Miracle Whip, catsup, and sugar and continue blending until well mixed.
Step 4
Place in sealed container and refrigerate.
Step 5
This is good on any lettuce salad. It's similar to Thousand Island Dressing, but I like it much better.
