"A peanut buttery version of s'mores! Just as easy to make and just as delicious to eat. (You can use Saltine Crackers or Graham Crackers, whatever you have on hand.) Ingredients are for one s'more; just increase quantities depending on how many campers you have around the fire. This is all about quick, easy prep work if you are working with a lot of kids/campers. Having the peanut butter already spread onto the crackers and having the chocolate bar already broken into fourths will make it a lot more efficient when the kids swarm you with toasted marshmallows on pointy sticks."

Step by Step Method

Step 1

Make sure your campfire is going strong.

Step 2

Spread creamy peanut butter onto one side of each cracker and place the piece of chocolate into the peanut butter of one cracker; the peanut butter will keep the chocolate in place. (Basically, have peanut butter on one side of both crackers, with chocolate one one side of one cracker.)

Step 3

Insert a large marshmallow onto the end of a pointed stick or s'more skewer; toast the marshmallow over the campfire (hold the stick so the marshmallow is about 12" to 15" above the fire).

Step 4

Toast marshmallow to desired doneness.

Step 5

Place the toasted marshmallow between the crackers and squeeze them together to make a sandwich.

Tips

  • Long, pointy stick or s'mores skewer
