"I just entered a copycat recipe for Pumpkin Spice Mix & thought I should also have a recipe that uses it. This recipe was found at thegraciouspantrydotcom w/Emily as its creator. It originally used juice-sweetened cranberries as the fruit part of the filling, but I modified it to use raisins as a life-long personal preference. It's healthy & an easy-fix that serves 1, but can easily be made to serve as many as needed. (Time does not include time for the apple(s) to cool) Enjoy!"

Step by Step Method
Step 1
Choose a fresh, delicious apple. Remove the core & put the apple in a baking dish. Fill the core w/the plumped raisins.
Step 2
Pour honey down the center of the apple (over the raisins). Sprinkle 1/2 tsp Pumpkin Spice Mix over the filled apple.
Step 3
Place the apple in the oven & bake at 350F until you can easily puncture it w/a knife. It should be quite soft & this will take about 20 min. Remove from the oven & allow to cool. To serve, top w/the diced walnuts (if using).
