Step 1

COMBINE milk, cereal, marmalade, salt and spice in 1-quart microwave-safe bowl.

Step 2

MICROWAVE on HIGH 1 minute

Step 3

Stir. Watch so that it does not foam up

Step 4

Microwave an additional 3 minutes or until thickened,

Step 5

Stirring every 30 seconds. With a whisk

Step 6

Top with milk, butter and brown sugar , if desired

I never would have thought of adding marmalade to cream of wheat, but what a great idea! I must admit to making a few changes. I was out of cream of wheat, but had a small amount of cream of rice that needed to be used. I made this as directed, except on the stove rather than the microwave. It is DELICIOUS! Can't wait to try it with cream of wheat and with other flavors of preserves! Thanks for posting this great breakfast treat!
