Step by Step Method
Step 1
Bake cake as instructed on the box in 9x13-inch pan.
Step 2
When baked and cooled, poke holes all over cake with meat fork.
Step 3
Mix large box of Jello with the 1 1/2 cups boiled water then 1 cup iced water, let it est for about 5 minutes until slightly thickened. Slowly pour over the cooled cake and allow to run into holes all over cake.
Step 4
Chill cake until Jello is set (1 hour).
FOR THE FROSTING
Step 5
In large bowl, cream the cheese until creamy.
Step 6
Add the dry Jello powder, pudding mix, milk and the vanilla extract; beat well. Gently fold in Cool Whip. Spread on cake. Place in refrigerator until you are ready to serve it.
