"A fun breakfast for camping. Every blueberry muffin mix requires different ingredients (typically eggs, oil and/or milk or water), so I didn't include those ingredients. PLEASE make sure you pack the ingredients to mix together the blueberry muffin mix for your camping trip!"

Step by Step Method

Step 1

Make sure your campfire is going strong.

Step 2

Cut the top 1/3 from each orange, then scrape out the flesh and pulp (eat or discard it). KEEP the orange tops.

Step 3

Prepare the blueberry muffin mixes according to the package instructions.

Step 4

Spoon the muffin mix evenly into the hollowed-out oranges.

Step 5

Replace the top of the orange and wrap each orange in HEAVY DUTY aluminum foil.

Step 6

Place the wrapped oranges directly into the campfire colas, making sure they sit upright.

Step 7

Leave in the campfire for 5-10 minutes, or until the muffins are done.

Step 8

Using LONG TONGS, remove the oranges from the campfire; using a hot pat or oven mitt, slowly unwrap the oranges and allow to them to cool until they can be safely handled.

Step 9

Peel the oranges to reveal the cooked muffins. Alternatively, you can use a fork or spoon and eat the muffin out of the orange (instead of peeling).
