Step by Step Method
Step 1
Put the tomato juice, vodka, lime juice and Tabasco sauce in a pitcher half-full of crushed ice.
Step 2
Stir well.
Step 3
Rub a lemon wedge around the rim of 12 shot glasses; press the rim into a saucer of kosher salt.
Step 4
Put 1 oyster in each shot glass.
Step 5
Add the chilled vodka mixture, then top with lime zest, a little salt and pepper and a lime wedge speared with a toothpick.
