Great recipe! Reminds me of the pops my Mom made when I was a kid. I used Better Bowls Splenda sweetened strawberry jello, fruit punch koolaid, and a mix of Splenda/xylitol for the sugar. I only have one 6 pack popsicle mold, so had lots of extra liquid. My toddler Max wanted to drink some and loved it...then he ate the rest as jello. He loved the popsicles too, so it's a versatile recipe! Running them under warm water made them release from the molds with no problem. I liked how they don't melt all over the place due to the jello. Freddy Cat and his monster/alien friend say thanks for the fun! Made for the Billboard recipe tag game.

I used cherry kool-Aid and black cherry Jello as my flavors of choice. I mixed up the batch and placed the mixture into four store bought plastic molds, which for me didn't work when I tried to get them out, but I think this was because I didn't warm the outside of the mold with water to help release them. I only removed one so, I will try to get the others to release with that technique. However, this problem did not stop me from enjoying the treat. I scooped it out into a parfait glass and added a squirt of whipped cream to the top. So therefore, I think this recipe could be served to both the children as well as the adults. The flavor was delicious. Made for Billboard tag.
