"I use this recipe quite a bit when grilling steaks. It is also great for those cheaper cuts of meat as it tenderizes as it marinates. The cook time will vary for this depending on thickness of steaks and desired doneness, ie: rare, medium rare, medium well, well done......... For gluten free use gluten free oyster sauce."

Step by Step Method

Step 1

Mix all ingredients together in plastic bag.

Step 2

Place steaks in bag and let marinate a couple of hours.

Step 3

Remove from bag and cook on preheated grill until done.

I let my steak marinade was full of flavor and so tender...delicious...made for "WOTM" and "B'Zazzled" tag games...

This flavor of the steak sauce is pretty good. I marinated for a couple of hours as stated and wish I had done it longer. The flavor would have infused itself more with more time, and made the meat more tender. Next time I will marinate it longer for better results.

I haven't had much experience on the grill but this looked easy enough to achieve and I made the marinade. I marinated the steaks for about 5 hours then turned on the grill and made them. We thought the steak was extremely delicious and more tender than my steaks usually come out. I am happy to find this to use again!

How could I pass up using this marinade for our steaks. It resulted in really tender juicy steak with an amazing flavor. My guests really dug in and cleaned the platter! I marinated for 8 hours with complete success.

I read the review where 2 hours isn't enough and decided to go with almost 8 hours. The meat was nice and tender and the flavors were really into the meat once we grilled them up. This is a great marinade to use on steak and other cuts of beef. I plan to use this throughout the summer when I am not using the smoker. Another great one from Recipezazz!

I am the grill king of the neighborhood, and every time I use my grill I have neighbors coming over to see what I am making. While I was making some steaks for the wife and I my next door neighbor came over sniffing and telling me how good the steaks smelled cooking. I cut off a piece of meat and handed it to him to try. He was chomping on it and telling me it was delicious all at the same time. The wife and I have to agree, it is delicious. 5 stars for sure!
