Step by Step Method

Step 1

Line three 9 x 5-inch loaf pans with good quality plastic wrap (leaving an overhang for easy removal) set aside --- or use just one pan if desired.

Step 2

Place candies in a zip-top plastic freezer bag, then coarsely crush candies using a meat mallet or rolling pin;. set aside crushed candies reserving about 1/4 cup for topping.

Step 3

Microwave white chocolate morsels in a large microwave-safe bowl for about 1 minute until melted removing once to stir (make sure chocolate is smooth).

Step 4

Add peppermint extract and larger portion of crushed candies to melted chocolate, stirring until evenly distributed.

Step 5

Quickly spread melted white chocolate evenly in prepared pans; sprinkle with reserved crushed candies, pressing gently with fingertips, then let stand 1 hour or until firm.

Step 6

When firm pull the plastic wrap up to remove the bark from the pan/s, remove the plastic wrap then break chocolate into pieces
