Add everything else but molasses

Simmer for 2 hours more

May need more water

Beans should be soft and thick

Add molasses the last half hour season to taste

I made these in the crock pot using 2 cups chicken broth and three cups water. I had to use ground oregano instead of fresh. I also added some diced ham. Thanks, Dee!
