"Recipe from my sister-in-law's family which has been a go-to for my family on special occasions for decades. When I was younger, flank steak was a cheap cut of beef, but nowadays it's one of the more expensive choices. So nowadays we usually use it with a less pricey cut."

Step by Step Method

Step 1

Score steak on the bias on both sides.

Step 2

Combine all the rest of ingredients in the bottom of a low flat pan.

Step 3

Add flank steak and marinate, covered in the refrigerator between 2 hours to 2 days, turning occasionally.

Step 4

Broil or grill 6 minutes to a side.
