Brownies Fudgy Style
"These are my daughters favorite brownies. My daughter really enjoys these in her care packages. I have been making these brownies for over 25 years now. These are really moist and chewy brownies and very easy to make and they don't take long. Nuts are totally optional. "

Step by Step Method
Step 1
Melt the butter and chocolate over low heat in a 5 or 6 qt saucepan stirring constantly
Step 2
Remove from heat and stir in sugar and let cool a bit
Step 3
Add eggs one at a time beating with a wooden spoon after each addition until well blended
Step 4
Add flour, vanilla and salt and stir well
Step 5
If adding nuts add them in now to mixture and mix well
Step 6
Pour mixture in a buttered 13 x 9 pan in a preheated oven at 350 for 30 - 35 minutes
Step 7
Brownies will be done when you insert a toothpick in the center and it comes out clean. Cool pan on wire rack and enjoy
