Step by Step Method
Step 1
Combine all ingredients except vanilla in top of a double boiler.
Step 2
Add water to the bottom half of the boiler and bring to a boil.
Step 3
Beat the frosting ingredients for one minute.
Step 4
Place over the boiling water and beat until the mixture forms peaks, about 7 minutes.
Step 5
Remove from heat. Beat in the vanilla, and continue beating until the frosting is of spreading consistency and cooled.
