Mix all the lima bean stuff in a casserole. Top with bacon

Bake 2 hours 350. Check it does not dry out.

Wow, these are delicious! They really ARE like eating candy! Loved the bacon/brown sugar combo, and especially how the bacon crisped up during the bake. Will make again when the DH isn't home! Thanks for sharing, Dee!

I never made baked beans without tomato and sure not with limas, but boy is this good! I absolutely love the combination of bacon and brown sugar anyway, and this particular combination is awesome. The only change I made was to use prepared dijon because I had no dried mustard. I'm so making this again! Thanks for posting. Made for Best of 2021

There is just something about old fashioned recipes that are just so good and this recipe deserves to be revived back into our regular rotation. Delicious limas that goes well with so many things. I'm definitely making these again. Thank you, Dee for sharing. Made it for Best of 2021 as recommended by WAIGEN.

Oh my goodness! I made as directed except I used dark brown sugar. I'm supposed to be waiting for hubby to get home but I can't. I'm making this again, but with thick bacon instead of regular.
