Step by Step Method

Step 1

Cover venison with water and bring to boil in a heavy pot. Simmer several hours until venison is very tender, adding salt and pepper.

Step 2

Remove the venison, while letting the pot continue to boil.

Step 3

Shred the venison , then mix it with the acorn meal.

Step 4

Add this mixture to the broth and simmer together until the broth bubbles creamy-white with yellow flecks.
