When the DS was living at home I can honestly say a lot more sprouted legs and went into his stomach.

I used to put notes (D0 NOT EAT!!) on things I had plans for when my girls were growing up. They were voracious!! :lol: And even now I have to tell my DH the same thing.

Notes great idea but would not have worked with the DS as he has autism with an intellectual disability and his reading skills are limited and in all honesty I think even if he did understand he would have ignored which is part of his compulsive problem with things in general and particularly food but the DH SHOULD NO BETTER.

I know how difficult it is with an autistic child...we have 2 nephews in our family that have learning disabilities. BUT...you are correct! The DH's should know better. As a matter of fact...when I was in town yesterday...I bought some double smoked bacon (for a recipe) and told him not to touch...and because he is 81...also put a note on it. :lol: Gads!
