What WAS on Your Plate & and WHAT'S for Dinner 8/7

WHERE DID SATURDAY GO? I'M STILL CATCHING UP FROM FRIDAY!

Today, is rainy on and off; so, I'm stuck inside. Dinner ... leftovers. Just a little salmon from the other night, some of my rice; I have my cold cannellini salad - and even some broccoli to use. So, it's just going to be a little of this and that.
NO COOKING!

So, anyone have any special dinner plans?

Didn't have to cook the last two nights. Friday went to my nephew's rehearsal dinner, and last night, his wedding. Very hot outdoor wedding, I might add. But good food. They had pulled pork, mac 'n cheese, green beans, salad, chewy rolls, plenty of fresh fruit and veggie trays. And instead of cake, they had cookies, gooey brownies and little cheesecake bites.
Today, I'm making some kind of shrimp and some cilantro-lime rice.

Nothing special tonight, I have some chicken legs marinating in teriyaki marinade then making them on the grill with a side of coleslaw

Lovin, sounds like a good time. I think any outside wedding right now is bound to be pretty sticky. I was married in Oct; and, it was still 85 at night.
But, glad you got a couple of days off, and, had some fun too.
I love the dessert ideas, nice.
Dinner sounds good, love cilantro lime rice.

Cagey, nothing better than grilled chicken; no grilling tonight, wet and rain all around. Hopefully I can grill tomorrow.

Made TeresaS's Shrimp with cilantro and lime http://www.recipezazz.com/recipe/shrimp ... lime-22797. It turned out very good. Also with the cilantro-lime rice and a caprese salad with fresh picked tomatoes and basil.

Caprese ... one of my all time favorites! I'm out of fresh mozz; but, I want to make a pizza with some mozz and maters. I love that.
