Can I come for dinner?

Morning, my friend made a great steak dinner last night for me. Tonight, a coworker is retiring after 20 yrs; so, I'll stop by work for a bit.
The boys are cooking; but, I am taking my friends favorite broccoli/cauliflower salad and brownies.

Otherwise, that is it for me. I made the salad early; just toss with the dressing and done. And, I even baked ... something I don't do often, lol

No cooking for me all weekend!

With fresh tomatoes coming in now, I made a Savory Tomato Pie today along with some carmelized peaches in butter and brown sugar. Just posted the recipe so it'll probably be up tomorrow. My husband went back for seconds, and his first piece was a fourth of a pie! Also loved, loved the carmelized peaches, that are coming into season now, also.

First ... I love a good dog at a game. And, no cooking ... celebrate! Lucky you. Enjoy it while you can

I planted mostly small tomatoes this year; but, I am aching for a good tomato pie. I guess I may have to make one.

Lovin, Be still my heart ... Tomato Pie. OMG, I love that. And the peaches, second favorite. I will be there soon. Nothing better.

Shapes, sounds delish. A good Country meal. Ellie, love soup ANYTIME of the year.

Lady #3+7: To start - Classic deviled eggs, crab salad stuffed cucumber rounds, baked spicy chick peas; http://www.recipezazz.com/.../ham-swiss-and-poppyseed..., http://www.recipezazz.com/recipe/baked-beans-9438 (but using 3 different beans); corn, cucumber, tomato salad with a light herb vinaigrette

Me: Penne with a creamy sweet Italian sausage and roasted red pepper sauce; grilled caesar salad

I actually got most prepped this am; so, nothing much tonight. Bake the sandwiches and warm the beans is about it. My dish is also easy; and, lots of leftovers too which is good.

Morning Everyone!

Busy am. Went over to my friends catering kitchen to cook a bit for the ladies today.

Lady #1+6: To start, classic deviled eggs, blue crab salad stuffed cucumber rounds, roasted rosemary walnuts, beef tenderloin sliders on brioche buns, topped w/creamed spinach topped w/crispy onion strings; roasted tomatoes and mushrooms over iceberg wedges w/blue cheese dressing

Lady #2+2: The same deviled eggs, sliders and salad; but, potato soup on the side

Me, I asked to have my 7th box delivered today vs yesterday; so, no idea what will be in it.
Dinner, pan fried catfish; pasta salad w/pesto, tomato, Feta; cucumber onion salad

Your dinner tonight sounds like something I would like. We get catfish a lot.

Tonight my son is making spaghetti with sauce with Italian sausages.

Just got back from Costco - so we will be trying Costco's sausages tonight - I hope they are good as we have enough for at least 4 meals!
